Katty grew up near Cambridge, moved to Nottingham 11 years ago and
lives on Sherwood Rise. Presently she is busy singing for 'Bent' and also writing her own material. She has worked as a journalist and also enjoys the arts, DJing, ice skating, reading and travel.
For 5 years she sang with Lopus (aka Slip on Sound) who met on the Contemporary Arts Degree at Nottingham Trent University. She has also collaborated with the following artists:
Bent(Ministry of Sound) - Katty sang for them on their European Tour 2001. Other shows in 2001 include: Homelands Festival, The Big Chill, Ministry of Sound Festival, Knebworth, Quart Festival, Norway as well as supporting Orbital and The Stereo MCs in Athens.
In 2003 she joined them for gigs in Mexico city, Athens and Thessaloniki in Greece.
She provided backing vocals on their 2nd album 'The Everlasting Blink' and also features heavily on their brand new album 'Ariels'. As an integral part of the live show, she performed with them last summer at the following events: Big Chill in Prague, Brixton Academy supporting Orbital, Buenos Aires supporting Audio Bullys, Istanbul, The Big Chill here in the UK and the album lauch at Cargo in London.
In the winter of 2004 Bent supported Faithless on some of their UK tour dates. And in February also travelled to Australia to take part in the Good Vibrations festival alongside the Scissor Sisters and Mylo.

Linea 77 (Earache Records) - This rock band are very successful in their home country of Italy. Katty features on their album 'Ketchup Suicide' and the band flew her over to perform those songs live on Italian TV. (1999)
Hangnail (Mans Ruin) - Katty added vocals to their album '10 days before Summer' and has performed live with them at several London venues.(1998)
International Peoples Gang - Guest vocals on three tracks to be included on their forthcoming album. 'That's Her' appears on 'iChill' compilation from Big Chill. (2003)
